LALA LAND | Aesthetic Coffee Shop

Can you believe I lived in Southern California my whole life and never been to LaLa Land Coffee? I mean, they haven’t been around my whole life, but somehow it never made the list…until now. With my move coming up, I decided now was as good a time as any to start my Goodbye California Series: a little tour of spots I’ve somehow missed, and I’m taking you along for the ride.

From the moment I walked in I knew I’d been missing out. I’m obsessed with butter yellow right now and this place is practically drenched in it walls, accents, and all. The ambiance was perfect: cozy rattan chairs, sunlit corners, and a playlist full of great ’90s hits that somehow made everything feel nostalgic and effortlessly cool.

I kept things simple and, yes, a little basic, I ordered the World’s Best Vanilla Latte and the Strawberry Cloud Matcha Latte. They were good: tasty, Instagram ready, and totally fitting for the aesthetic. Not life changing, but exactly what I wanted for a slow afternoon in a cute spot. I’m a sucker for vibe over novelty, so I’ll definitely be back.

If you’re in town and craving a mellow, beautifully styled coffee break, LaLa Land is worth popping into. Especially if you, like me, are collecting little goodbye moments from California.
